About Narmada Mannem
Narmada Mannem, M.D., is an assistant professor of vascular neurology at University of Florida and UF Health in Jacksonville, specializing in stroke. Dr. Mannem received her medical degree from Sri Venkateswara Medical College in Tirupati, India. She completed an internal medicine internship and neurology residency training at Carilion Clinic-Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine in Roanoke, Virginia. She also completed a fellowship in vascular neurology at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. Dr. Mannem is board-certified in neurology.
Her current clinical and research interests include acute stroke treatment, secondary prevention, embolic stroke of undetermined source (ESUS), stroke in young adults, transcranial doppler and Botox for spasticity in stroke patients.
