About Ahmad O M Armouti

Ahmad Armouti, MD, is a University of Florida assistant professor of neurology and a vascular neurologist at UF Health Jacksonville. Dr. Armouti has a passion for acute stroke management and stroke education. His clinical practice is rooted in evidence-based, patient-centered medicine, ensuring that the latest scientific insights for treatment are tailored to each patient’s needs.

He completed his residency at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa. He completed a fellowship in stroke at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, where he also served as a sub-investigator in multiple NIH- and industry-funded stroke trials.

Dr. Armouti is fluent in both English and Arabic. He is committed to clear communication and delivering compassionate care to all patients.

As a strong advocate for stroke prevention and early recognition, he strives to empower the local communities to act F.A.S.T. (Face drooping, Arm weakness, Speech difficulty, Time to call 911) and save lives by recognizing the warning signs of stroke and the importance of rapid treatment.
